Driving Directions
Heading North from San Fransisco:
Take Exit 663 (South Fork/Honeydew). Go right at the stop sign under the highway and enter Rockefeller Forest (also known as Bull Creek road). Go 23 miles (takes about 45min-1hr) till you Cross bridge and see the Honeydew Post Office / Store on your right, go right and continue on Mattole Road for 9.2 miles (about 20-25 minutes). Landmarks that signal you are close: you will drive across a single lane bridge, pass AW Way park and the Mattole Grange Hall on the left. Just a bit further (1 mile) and there will be a street, Green Fir Rd on your left, go left and we are the first driveway on your left.
Heading South from Eureka / Arcata / Ferndale:
Go thru downtown Ferndale taking a right on Bluff Ave / Ocean Ave. Take the first left with a sign that says Captown / Petrolia. This is the Wildcat. Go 35 miles (which will take you by 7 mile along the Pacific and thru Petrolia town square) Keep heading south on Mattole Road. You will go over 2 bridges. The second bridge is named Elwyn Lindley Bridge. Directly after the bridge turn right on Green Fir Rd and we are the first driveway on the left.
